The ThinkLite StayCool system keeps track of temperature constantly. In the unlikely event thatthe surrounding temperature rises above 80F, the LEDs will switch off automatically while the fans remain on until the system is cool again. This is to prevent the LED chips and PCB from getting destroyed with excessive heat from the environment.

The fans will keep the entire system cool even in an enclosed fixture. The fans are designed to cool the air surrounding the LED Pod, especially in an enclosed/vapor tight fixture.
3mm thick copper based PCB maintains a lowertemperature of the LED. Copper is 4x more effective than silicon, which is the industry norm that is typically used instead.
