ThinkLite’s LED tubes are not made of glass and will not shatter In the comparison below, the Coefficient of Utilization (CU) for a fluorescent tube is 0.65. Fluorescent tubes emit light in all directions of the cylinder. Howerver, LED tubes are a directional light source. LED tubes emit light in a directional beam angle of 180 degrees, directly out of the fixture. Therefore, the Coefficient of Utilization (CU) for ThinkLite’s LED tube is 0.86, resulting in higher lamp lumens exiting the fixture and into the space.

Thinklite StayCool System

The ThinkLite StayCool system keeps track of temperature constantly. If the temperature rises above 80F, the LEDs will switch off while the fans remain on until the system is cool again.
